During PhD and postdoctoral research, S. Panda published work spanning asymmetric organocatalysis and organoboron methodology, including tandem allylation/1,2-boronate rearrangement for indolines with adjacent quaternary stereocenters (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2018, 140, 13242); palladium-catalyzed asymmetric three-component coupling of boronic esters, indoles, and allylic acetates (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2017, 139, 6038–6041); synthesis and utility of dihydropyridine boronic esters (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2016, 55, 2205–2209); an organocatalyzed aldol route to a potential TMC-95A intermediate (J.
