Profile
Priyabrata Padhi is currently a Ph.D. researcher in Organic Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, having joined the program in July 2024. He completed his Master’s degree from Khallikote University, Berhampur, Odisha, and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Upendranath College, Soro, Odisha. His research focuses on advanced organic synthesis, with a particular emphasis on organoboron chemistry and the structural modification of molecules through photoredox-catalyzed transformations. His work aims to contribute to the development of efficient and innovative methodologies in modern synthetic chemistry. Beyond academics, he has a keen interest in extracurricular activities, including playing cricket, singing, and sketching, reflecting a balanced and creative approach to both scientific and personal pursuits.
