Profile
Debasis Aich was born in West Medinipur, West Bengal, India. He received his B.Sc. degree with honours in Chemistry from Surendranath College, Calcutta University in 2016 and M.Sc. degree in chemistry from Mahishadal Raj College, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal in 2018. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, under the supervision of Dr. Santanu Panda. His research interest focus on 1,2-boronate rearrangements for C-C bond forming reactions; currently, he is working on strain-release reactions of 1-azabicyclo[1.1.0]butanes to access different azetidine-based small molecules with potent biological applications.
